A newer model doesn’t always mean it’s a better one
By Juan C. Fernandez
Like all companies, New Balance is looking for profit. In order to do that, they have to keep redesigning their sneaker line. This sneaker (the 906) is a classic example of how greed and poor management may lead to failure. That being said: here is my review. The 906 masters and cons:
Pros: Light, good torsional rigidity, suitable forefoot flexion (at the right spot), and dissent heel stability, and good sweat absorption/dissemination… but i’ve come to suppose these things from NB.
Cons: The toe box went from beauteous dissent in the BB905 to just sufficient space so the intermediate joe doesn’t complain. I attribute the less than roomy toe-box to the unforgiving patent leather upper (the upper is hard to move-like a stone wall). Short stops on the court may perhaps leave you with black nail from micorhemorrhages from crashing your toes to the unforgiving uppers. I were a 2E wide foot, and this sneaker felt much tighter than the BB905 in 2E, but it wasn’t that big of a divergence in fit. The problem is that this sneaker kind of tapers abruptly in the front leaving you with a kind of goofy looking sneaker (maybe I’m the only that would detect this though). The worse percentage of this sneaker is the rear where your achilles tendon meets the sneakers posterior rim/lip or edge. This area is exceedingly underpadded and abrasive(though it may not appear this way at first). I without delay felt the scraping back there and now have to wear band-aids until the skin heals up.
In all I regret buying it and only purchased it because 1)I need wide baskteball shoes (not a great deal of companies make them)2)NB had me on the discontinued the BB905… what a mistake. I would have given a 2.5/5 but you may only do whole numbers. You may read my review of BB905 on the link below.

Hope this helps in your Bball sneaker search

Tight fit
By D. Jansen
I am glad I ordered a size more spectacular than what I normally wear. There is not much room to spare. The sole looks like it will have to absorb shock, but it is just for looks. After walking around all day long in these shoes my feet were killing me. I necessitated to put insoles in them. Now it is an even tighter fit.

Bad Design
By Christine Wilkins
We didn’t like this shoe AT ALL. The tongue is sewn down the length of one side of the throat. Um, this doesn’t work too well people. This is the basi New Balance shoe I didn’t like.
